President Maduro Leads Salutation to the Venezuela’s Bolivarian Armed Forces

The President of Venezuela and also Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro, led this Saturday the end-of-year salutation to members of each component of the FANB at the Plaza Bicentenario de Ayacucho, in Fuerte Tiuna, Caracas.

During his speech at the event, President Maduro highlighted the strategic role of the FANB in preserving peace and national unity, paying tribute to the values of loyalty and fighting morality that characterize the military institution.
“The FANB, its four components plus the Bolivarian National Militia are practical and true heirs of the Revolutionary United People’s Army for the Liberation of South America. Today, we are again the United Army Liberator”, said the head of state.
President Maduro emphasized that the Armed Forces it is a military organisation to “defend Venezuela’s right to build its future” and not to “serve the oligarchy of surnames, the gringo empire or any of the complexed pro-empires of Europe.”
After claiming the history of national and Latin American liberation, with a tour of the founding fathers and liberators, their ideals and dreams, President Maduro highlighted the work of the Venezuelan military in protecting the country.
President Maduro proclaimed that 2025 will be a “year of victory, sovereignty, peace and the fusion of people, military and police” in a context of hope and determination.
In addition the also FANB’s Commander in Chief reaffirmed his commitment to the people and envisioning a future full of opportunities, highlighting that “what comes is better, what comes is more Patria and Revolution.”
According to local media, more than 1,300 officials represented the men and women who make up the Venezuelan military institution at the event dedicated to ratifying the strategic nature of the FANB in preserving peace, territorial stability and national unity.
